Belarus" and Turkmenistan"s readiness to increase mutual trade volume was the key topic of a bilateral meeting between Alexander Lukashenko and Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. Minsk offers Ashgabat cooperation in a wide range of spheres from the military-industrial complex to staff training, project number one being the Garlyk mining and processing potash plant.The Belarusian President"s official visit is taking place ahead of Turkmenistan"s Neutrality Day. The Presidents and Prime Ministers of over 50 countries are expected to arrive in Ashgabat to discuss issues of politics, peace and security. The event will be attended by Alexander Lukashenko.
