President of Belarus – at the World Climate Summit
Alexander Lukashenko will take part in the World Climate Change Summit. The event takes place in Dubai under the auspices of the United Nations. It is expected that the President will voice Belarus’ approaches and proposals to address global issues of climate and environmental security. Our country always pays special attention to environmental and climate issues, hence the delegation is of the highest level. The geography of the summit includes almost 200 countries – 90 thousand delegates and 150 heads of state. Protection from natural disasters, continued support for the Paris climate agreements, as well as the fight against the emission of harmful gases into the atmosphere – all this will also become part of a larger conversation about the future fate of the planet.
