Preparations for the CIS Heads of Government Council meeting were discussed in Minsk

The regular meeting of the Council of Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives of the Commonwealth of Independent States to the Statutory and Other Bodies of the Commonwealth was held in Minsk. The permanent representatives visited the Life Safety Education Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, where they were briefed on the institution's work. A meeting of CIS permanent representatives was also held there, with the 40th anniversary of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident among the topics discussed. The meeting also reviewed preparations for the next meeting of the CIS Heads of Government Council, scheduled for 22 May in Ashgabat.
