A representative ofBelarus, Irina Velichko, has been elected Chair of the Working Group on Communications of the UN Commission on the Status of Women, as announced by the Belarusian Foreign Ministry press service.
The Belarusian delegation urged the high-level meeting dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the UN Development Programme to pay more attention to cooperation with regional economic integration bodies. Addressing the meeting, the Belarusian delegation highlighted the most important joint achievements and cooperation areas betweenBelarusand UNDP.
