Presidents of Belarus and Turkey to hold official negotiations in Minsk today

The Turkish President is scheduled to pay his first official visit to Belarus today. Alexander Lukashenko and Recep Tayyip Erdogan are planned to hold the main negotiation round in the Palace of Independence to discuss the development of interstate relations with an emphasis on intensifying trade and economic cooperation and exchange views on regional and international agenda. The talks are expected to result in the signing of several bilateral documents. Besides, Minsk will host a Belarus-Turkey business forum and the opening of a cathedral mosque.
