Next round of negotiations on settlement of Ukrainian crisis held in Minsk

The sitting of the Trihedral Contact Group ended in President Hotel more than an hour ago.Kievis ready to open a checkpoint in Lugansk Region for civil transport and humanitarian lots. The negotiators also exchanged information on demining. Yet, there is no progress in negotiations on other key issues.
According to special representative ofRussia, the key point in negotiations is provision of special status to Donbass and guarantees to local residents. The next session of the Contact Group may take place inMinskon February 10.
The issue of amendments to the Ukrainian constitution also remains unclear. The Supreme Rada postponed the vote on decentralization.
