Minsk to host meeting of contact group on situation in east of Ukraine

The trilateral contact group on the situation in the east of Ukraine is to meet in Minsk today. On September 5, its participants confirmed their full commitment to the Minsk Agreements. This was stated by the OSCE Special Representative Martin Saidik. He also mentioned that this summer became the most peaceful since the beginning of the conflict. Thanks to an agreed truce in connection with the beginning of harvesting, as well as the start of the academic year, it was possible to significantly reduce the level of ceasefire violations.
