Minsk hosts informal meeting of Eastern Partnership foreign ministers

Belarus’ capital hosted an informal meeting of the foreign ministers of the Eastern Partnership countries. At the end of the meeting, the chief of the Belarusian diplomacy Vladimir Makei said that official Minsk supports a direct dialogue between the European Union and the Eurasian Economic Union. The Minister also pointed to the growth of trade turnover between Belarus and the European Union. According to the European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy, the agreement on partnership priorities between Belarus and the European Union will be signed by the end of the year.
