Belarus welcomes the implementation of the agreements on the ceasefire in Gaza, the launch of the first stage of the peace process and the beginning of the release of hostages. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stands for a long-term settlement of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the hope that the current ceasefire will become a solid foundation for establishing a sustainable and just peace. The Ministry recalled that back in 1988, as a member and co-founder of the United Nations, Belarus recognized the independence of the State of Palestine. And now the country consistently proceeds from the right of the Palestinian people to determine their own destiny.
