Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus called the policy of European bureaucrats irresponsible

The irresponsible policy of European bureaucrats is a direct threat to the future of Europe itself. This is stated in a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus. The Foreign Ministry has been watching with some interest the attempts to put on a show around Ms. von der Leyen's visit to the EU border countries. This trip really turned out to be a waste of time in terms of any progress towards improving the situation on the border of Belarus with the EU member states. The Foreign Ministry stressed that Belarus does not pursue an aggressive policy and does not increase military spending. European taxpayers' funds are used to fuel conflict, not to consolidate peace. In Brussels, under the slogans of protecting the democratic world, they actually contribute to the escalation of the conflict.
