Belarusian Foreign Minister meets with UN General Assembly Chairman

The 71st Session of the UN General Assembly continues in New York. Yesterday, the Belarusian Foreign Minister held a number of important bilateral negotiations. Meeting with Chairman of the 71st Session of the UN General Assembly Peter Thomson, Vladimir Makei expressed Belarus" full support for initiatives aimed at implementing the sustainable development objectives. In turn, Peter Thomson praised the contribution of Belarus to the UN activities. The parties agreed to work together to strengthen the authority and enhance the activities of the General Assembly.
