The meeting of the Union State Council of Ministers signed documents on deepening Belarus-Russia integration to improve bilateral benefits. According to Roman Golovchenko, the direct effect of the integration package for Belarus is $1 billion. As Mikhail Mishustin noted, the main goal is to increase the well-being of citizens of two countries. Among the main points are: united monetary policy, synchronized tax and customs systems. In addition, the Belarusian side will have access to Russian public procurement and subsidies. Integration will be based on the principles of openness and mutual trust.
