Interparliamentary cooperation is the foundation for expanding the dialogue between official Minsk and Moscow. The strengthening of bilateral partnership was discussed today at the Council of the Republic. The delegation of the Federation Council of Russia, headed by its speaker Valentina Matvienko, is visiting the Belarusian capital. The Chairman of the Upper House of the Belarusian Parliament Natalya Kochanova assured her colleagues that Belarusian deputies and senators are open to cooperation in all areas. According to Valentina Matvienko, it is important for the parties to take into account each other's interests. The responsibility of the current generation of politicians is to preserve everything that connects the fraternal peoples.
