Alexander Lukashenko: CIS should become political and economic centre of power

The CIS should become the political and economic centre of power, as stated by the President of Belarus at today"s meeting with heads of the delegations of the 16th session of the CIS Council of Heads of Supreme Audit Institutions. Slovakia"s presence at the forum suggests that the idea of mutually beneficial cooperation between East and West is becoming more and more important. It is no coincidence that this approach is being revived in the formula "the integration of integrations" promoted by Belarus. According to Alexander Lukashenko, it is the CIS countries who can demonstrate a proper example in this regard.
The 16th session of the CIS Council of Heads of Supreme Audit Institutions is being held in the President Hotel, its main theme being modern approaches to economic security.
