Joint sitting of boards of Belarus’ and Russia’s ministries of foreign affairs

The agenda includes examination of the course of fulfillment of the joint action program in the area of foreign policy of the Union State for the current year. Within the framework of the meeting, issues of cooperation in foreign policy planning, coordination of activities regarding the European Union, NATO, and the Council of Europe, the work at the OSCE were discussed. A special attention was paid to bilateral cooperation at multi-lateral sites in the spheres of arms control, as well as counteraction to the efforts of the West aimed at politicizing international organizations of economic and human rights profiles.
