India is one of Belarus' most important partners in Asia

Belarus highly appreciates its friendly relations with India. Today, it is one of our most important partners in Asia. Chairperson of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly Natalia Kochanova noted this at her meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Belarus Alok Ranjan Jha. The interlocutors paid a special attention to the state and prospects of the trade and economic cooperation. Over the last five years, the mutual trade has been developing dynamically. The turnover reached almost $600 million in 2020. There are also many joint initiatives and projects at international organizations.
