II International Conference on Eurasian Security starts in Minsk

The Belarusian platform in Minsk brought together about 600 participants. These are representatives of the CIS countries, the OSCE, the SCO, heads of a number of international organisations, and experts. A total of 45 countries will be represented. The media are also paying great attention: 150 Belarusian and foreign journalists have been accredited to the forum. The conference is designed to outline the contours of Eurasian security and discuss the concept of diversity and multipolarity. The first International Conference on Eurasian Security was held in Minsk last October.
