High-level international conference to be held in Minsk

A high-level international conference “Countering terrorism through innovative approaches and the use of new and emerging technologies” is opening in Minsk today. Representatives of 55 countries, as well as UN, OSCE, Interpol, CSTO, UNESCO, CIS, SCO and other organizations arrived in the Belarusian capital. The first two such conferences were held in Tajikistan and Mongolia. More will take place in Hungary, the United Arab Emirates and Austria. Following the conferences, a common concept will be developed in New York next year.
