Grodno region, Podlaskie voivodship agree to develop border infrastructure

Belarus’ Grodno region will be developing the border infrastructure jointly with the Podlaskie voivodship of Poland. The heads of the two regions reached the agreement during the working visit of the Polish delegation to Grodno. The regions have 140 km of common border. The parties implement a number of joint projects in various fields - from culture to economy. There are more than a hundred enterprises with Polish capital in the Grodno region. The visa-free regime has allowed to intensify the tourism sector. It was decided to promote the Augustow Canal under a single brand. The heads of the two regions also took part in the opening of the Friendship Alley.
