Foreign policy of Union State of Belarus and Russia

The relations between Belarus and Russia are of an allied character. And the interaction of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries is developing in the standart operating mode. The statement was made yesterday in Moscow by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at a meeting with his counterpart, Vladimir Makei. The diplomats discussed cooperation in economy and interaction between the two countries in the international arena. The meeting focused on the implementation of joint foreign policy programs of the Union State in the next two years. Cooperation of the two countries in the UN and the OSCE was also discussed.
