Foreign Ministers of Belarus and Russia met in Minsk

The Foreign Ministers of Belarus and Russia held talks in Minsk. This is the first meeting between S. Lavrov and S. Aleinik after the latter’s appointment as head of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry. The ministers discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation. The parties considered in detail the topic of countering illegal sanctions pressure of the West, as well as interaction on international platforms. A special place in the talks was occupied by the upcoming meeting of the heads of the two countries.
