EU submits draft visa agreement with Belarus for approval

The EU submitted a draft visa agreement with Belarus for approval. Today, the EU Council put it on the agenda. The first to approve the document will be the European Union foreign ministers. This issue has been marked as not requiring further discussion. The visa agreement will enter into force 2 months after signing by both parties. Earlier, the President of Belarus signed decrees in which he approved draft agreements with the EU on simplification of the visa regime and on readmission.
