Nomination of deputies for House of Representatives of Belarus' National Assembly to run until 1 August

District election commissions for the parliamentary elections have been formed in Belarus. The campaign"s preliminary results have been announced by Central Election Commission Chairwoman Lidia Yermoshina.The election commissions have received over 80 sets of documents on the nomination of candidates to the Belarusian parliament. This figure is expected to increase significantly in the next three days. Next week will see the start of document verification and candidate registration. The OSCE/ODIHR mission is expected to arrive in Belarus on Sunday. The mission"s authorities are scheduled to hold a meeting at the Central Election Commission on 2 August.
