A delegation from Russia"s Bryansk region led by governor Alexander Bogomazov is currently visiting Minsk. Belarus and the Bryansk region are quite capable of intensifying cooperation, as stated by President Alexander Lukashenko at a meeting with the Russian region"s governor.Belarus and the Bryansk region have been cooperating for a long time, the Russian region being home to the assembly branches of the Belarusian mechanical engineering enterprises Gomselmash and Amkodor.Further industrial and agricultural cooperation has been discussed during the visit. The Belarusian side has suggested engaging in production and science in agriculture. There is mutual interest in biotechnologies. Belarusian producers are ready to join social sphere projects in the Russian region.
