CSTO PA discusses security issues

Information security, combating illegal migration, human and drug trafficking were high on the agenda of the session of the CSTO PA Council in Saint Petersburg, Russia. The event took place in Tavricheskiy Palace and gathered heads of the parliaments of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan. Belarus stands for strengthening the fight against cybercrime and countering hybrid wars. The MPs also discussed the difficult situation at the borders of the CSTO member states. Over the past three years, NATO has increased its military presence in the Baltic States and Poland fivefold and conducted more than 80 exercises there.
