CSTO Defense Ministers' Meeting to be held on June 13
Two major events of the Belarusian presidency in the CSTO will be held in Minsk this week. Tomorrow, on June 13, the meeting of the defense ministers of the Collective Security Treaty Organization member states will take place. There are 12 issues on the agenda, which includes a plan for joint training of agencies and forces of the collective security system for the upcoming year. Later, on Thursday, a meeting of the Committee of Secretaries of Security Councils is scheduled. It is expected that President Alexander Lukashenko will meet with the participants, the presidential press service informed. The CSTO includes 6 states: Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan. Our country presides over this organization. By the way, this year the CSTO celebrates its 25th anniversary.
