CSTO, CIS and Shanghai Cooperation Organization to jointly counter terrorism

A common position was signed in Moscow. The parties intend to strengthen cooperation in the search for and prosecution of terrorists and their accomplices. There will also be joint work to prevent the spread and propaganda of terrorist and radical ideology, including religious extremism, incitement to terrorism and recruitment into the ranks of terrorist organizations, including through the Internet. The CSTO, the CIS and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization also advocate the formation of a broad antiterrorist coalition under the auspices of the UN.
