Council of Republic adopted declaration on suspension of Belarus' participation in CEI

The decision of the Central European Initiative on suspension of Belarus' participation in the organization is of nothing else but of a politicized character and a preposterous excuse, the declaration of the Presidium of the Council of the Republic reads. The document ascertains that suspension of Belarus' participation in CEI is an injudicious and illegal act which undermines the basis of partnership and trust, fruitful mutually beneficial cooperation which had been built between Belarus and the organization for 30 years.
