Contact group on Donbass to meet today in Minsk
27.11.2019
The last meeting of the Donbass contact group ahead of the "Normandy summit" will be held today in Minsk. The meeting is expected to provide fresh impetus to the peace process. The work of the contact group in the Belarusian capital has helped to agree the "Steinmeier formula", as well as the dates of the withdrawal of troops on the demarcation line. The Minsk agenda will also be discussed in Paris, where the heads of Ukraine, Russia, Germany and France will gather on December 9. Kiev will touch upon the return of prisoners, as well as issues of local elections in the self-proclaimed DPR and LPR.
