CIS Interparliamentary Assembly

The Belarusian parliamentary delegation will take part in the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly. The plenary session opens today in St. Petersburg. The Commonwealth parliamentarians will consider a dozen draft laws and recommendations that were approved by standing commissions. In addition, a solemn ceremony will be held to honor the 25th anniversary of the Assembly. It will gather representatives of the Commonwealth member countries, the Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee, the leaders of international partner organizations.
