The election campaign is launched. Today the Central Election Commission approved of the political calendar for the next 3 months. So, polling stations should be formed no later than July 9, lists of citizens should be formed by August 26. Registration of candidates will take place on August 2-11, and the lower chamber of the Belarusian parliament will summarize the results of elections no later than 15 September. According to the OSCE recommendations, the rights of domestic and international observers were extended.
By the end of the week the Belarusian Foreign Ministry will send invitations to the observers of the OSCE/ODIHR and the Commonwealth of Independent States.
