Registration of parliamentary candidates has finished inBelarus. Today, the Central Election Commission will announce the exact number of parliamentary race participants. According to preliminary data, there are no uncontested constituencies. The highest competition is observed inMinsk, one deputy seat being claimed by six people, compared to four in the other regions. Over 4,000 national and 300 international observers have received accreditation. Election campaigning is scheduled to launch today.
