Central Election Commission announces list of institutions accredited to conduct presidential election surveys

A full list of the six sociological institutions accredited to conduct presidential election surveys in Belarus is available on the website of the Central Election Commission. Only the employees of the accredited institutions have the right to conduct surveys related to presidential elections and the socio-political situation in the country.
Exit polls are a traditional practice in Belarus. They allow getting preliminary information about the voting process and citizens" preferences. However, the CEC does not order conducting them and does not interfere with the process.
