Chairman of the House of Representatives of Belarus discussed bilateral relations with the new Ambassador of Serbia
Belarus and Serbia intend to develop friendly and trusting relations. Including between the parliaments of the two countries. Speaker of the House of Representatives Igor Sergeenko met with the Serbian Ambassador to Belarus on the occasion of the launch of her diplomatic mission. Our countries have long-standing ties and mutual support on international platforms. Serbia is a key partner for us in the Balkans. And in Europe it is actually the only country with which we have visa-free travel and free trade agreement. This simplifies contacts between people, including business. Belarus has always supported Serbia on the most sensitive issues and counts on the same support, said the speaker. For her part, the ambassador noted the proximity of our countries and the friendly nature of relations. This will contribute to the realization of joint economic plans.
