Belarus' Central Election committee updates data on presidential election voting

Belarus" Central Election committee is summing up the results of the presidential elections held on Sunday. According to the updated data on voter turnout and voting results announced at today"s meeting, incumbent President Alexander Lukashenko has won 83.47% of the votes. Voter turnout was traditionally high - 6,113,013 Belarusians, or about 87% of the voters, have fulfilled their civic duty, over 36% exercising their right to vote early.
