CEC not to form polling stations abroad
The CEC of Belarus has started the active phase of the election campaign. Districts for the election of deputies of the House of Representatives of the eighth convocation have been formed. There are 110 of them - according to the number of deputies of the House of Representatives. The resolution adopted at today's meeting of the Central Commission describes in detail their boundaries, names, numbers, and number of voters. In accordance with the new legislation, the Central Election Commission does not form polling stations abroad. But it does not infringe upon the rights of citizens, who have left the country for one reason or another. They can come to Belarus and fulfill their civic duty: either during the period of early voting, or on the single day of voting, February 25.
