BRICS summit takes place in Brazil
The BRICS summit continues in Rio de Janeiro today. On the first day, the leaders of the association's countries adopted a declaration of the meeting. The document reflects that the current efforts on Ukraine will lead to a sustainable peaceful settlement. The summit participants condemned the military strikes on Iran and expressed concern about attacks on nuclear facilities under full IAEA safeguards. In this context, they called on the UN Security Council to address the issue of ensuring nuclear safety in military conflicts. Belarus is represented at the forum by Minister of Foreign Affairs M.
