Brest hosts meeting of CSTO PA
Brest city is hosting a meeting of the standing commission of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO). The session is set to discuss matters of defense and security, corruption, military technical cooperation as well as confronting information wars. There are 14 issues on agenda, including draft model laws of the Collective Security Treaty Organization. Among them is the model code «On Information Counteraction to Terrorism and Extremism», which provides common approaches for harmonizing the legislations of the CSTO member countries. Tomorrow the visiting session of the Standing Committee of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly will continue its work. On the Belarusian-Polish border members of the commission will get familiar with the state borders guarding.
