Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs holds talks in Geneva
The Belarusian delegation will take part in the high-level segments of the UN Human Rights Council session and the Conference on Disarmament. The Minister of Foreign Affairs will present Minsk's position on ensuring security in the region and the world as a whole, reflect the Belarusian side's current approaches to the activities of the Human Rights Council with a focus on problematic aspects and ways to resolve them, and outline the main priorities of the Belarusian chairmanship of the EAEU. Today in Geneva Maxim Ryzhenkov has already held a meeting with Amy Pope, Director General of the International Organization for Migration. The programme also includes participation in the ministerial meeting of the member states of the Group of Friends in Defence of the Charter of the United Nations and talks with the leadership of the Geneva-based UN organisations.
