Belarusian Foreign Minister takes part at Non-Aligned Movement Summit

Sustainable peace in the Middle East is an important basis for economic development and a factor in the long-term stability of states throughout the region. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Sergei Aleinik at a meeting of the Group of Friends in Defense of the Charter of the United Nations in Uganda. In his opinion, the conflict in the region should be resolved on an international legal basis by implementing the principle of States for peoples. The parties must reach a historic compromise. The Belarusian delegation led by Foreign Minister Sergei Aleinik is taking part in the 19th summit of the Non-Aligned Movement in Uganda on January 18-20.
