Belarusian Foreign Minister on an official visit to Kazakhstan

Expansion of cooperation in political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus is making his first official visit to Kazakhstan. On 14 April, Maxim Ryzhenkov was received by President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation, as well as on topical issues on the international agenda. Maxim Ryzhenkov also conveyed greetings on behalf of President Aleksandr Lukashenko. Increasing trade turnover, mutual investments and industrial cooperation — these topics were the focus of the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the two countries. The opening ceremony of the Consulate General of Belarus in Almaty will take place as part of Maxim Ryzhenkov's visit to Kazakhstan.
