Belarus will try to gain full membership in BRICS
The BRICS summit has ended in Brazil. For the first time, Belarus participated in the summit as a partner country. The high-level forum was devoted to the most pressing problems of international politics and economics, as well as social consequences of the global crisis. In the discussion of all these topics, the voice of Belarus sounded weighty and confident. The country has been cooperating with BRICS in the status of a partner state since the beginning of 2025. According to Minister of Foreign Affairs Maxim Ryzhenkov, Belarus will try to gain full membership in the BRICS. The government is committed to actively participate in the practical activities of the BRICS and in specific activities in the priority areas of the association's work.
