Belarus urges the countries of the world to adhere to the UN Charter
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus addressed the 79th session of the UN General Assembly. Maxim Ryzhenkov presented in New York the Belarusian vision of the most pressing problems of humanity and the ways to solve them. The diplomat noted that the main threat to peace and stability on Earth is the refusal to abide by the Charter of the United Nations. This document provides for ways to resolve the most acute conflicts and the most pressing problems of mankind, in particular, it excludes any unjustified sanctions pressure on the UN member states. Maxim Ryzhenkov also recalled the initiative of the President of Belarus to hold a global security dialog. He invited the countries to take part in a representative international conference on Eurasian security to be held in Minsk on 31 October.
