Belarus to take part in SCO summit

China will host the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Tianjin from 31 August to 1 September. More than 20 foreign leaders will take part in it. The heads of Russia, Belarus, Iran, India, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and other countries, as well as a number of international organizations, are invited to the meeting. The agenda includes the successful experience of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the prospects for the organization's development and its progress towards the goal of creating an even more cohesive community with a common destiny. Belarus officially joined the SCO as a full participant at the Astana summit in July 2024.
