Belarus to continue fighting illegal turnover of radioactive materials

Belarus intends to continue taking an active part in international cooperation aimed at fighting the illegal turnover of radioactive materials. The statement was made during the international conference held in Sweden on addressing security challenges in the Baltic Sea region. High-ranking representatives of Denmark, Poland, Russia, Norway, and Estonia took part in the conference. During the discussion Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Oleg Kravchenko mentioned the constant attention Belarus pays to the protection of nuclear installations in its territory. The experts also discussed fight against terrorism, response to climate change.
