Belarus promotes the ideas of a multipolar world at the UN

The Belarusian delegation has arrived in New York to participate in the UN General Assembly events. Foreign Minister Maksim Ryzhenkov will speak at the general political discussion and hold a number of meetings within the CSTO, the Alliance of Civilizations and join the meeting of the countries that are members of the Group of Friends for the Defense of the UN Charter. The main efforts of the Belarusian delegation will be aimed at promoting the ideas of a multipolar world, further consolidation of like-minded countries advocating for a fairer world order. A special emphasis will be placed on the illegal nature and destructive consequences of the use of unilateral coercive measures as an instrument of pressure on sovereign states.
