Belarus President met with Sberbank Chairman

Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko and Sberbank Chairman of the Board German Gref discussed the situation in the international economy and its influence on the financial sectors in Belarus and Russia. The sides also considered the prospects of cooperation with Sberbank. At present the Russia’s financial holding company is the biggest investor in the Belarusian economy. The company’s share in the banking system of Belarus amounts to over 12%. Every fifth credit in our country is granted by this organization.
