IAEA Director General to visit Belarus

During his three-day working visit Yukiya Amano will meet with the Foreign Minister of the country Vladimir Makei, as well as representatives of the government of Belarus. Also, the IAEA director general will take part in the opening ceremony of the International Exhibition and Conference "ATOMEXPO", visit the site of the Belarusian nuclear power plant construction and the Republican control center of emergency response. The first section of the Belarusian NPP will be launched in 2018 and the second one in 2020.
