Belarus to develop relations with Georgia

Belarusand Georgiawill soon have a turnover of 200 million dollars. This was stated by President Alexander Lukashenko at the meeting with Prime Minister of Georgia Georgy Kvirikashvili. The basis of exports fromBelarusis food, medicals and tractors. Among the major projects for this year there is opening of the Belarusian Embassy inGeorgia. In addition, our country is going to increase the supply of products and MTZ for the Georgian agrarians. Another step in the rapprochement is joint venture for production of elevators. As Alexander Lukashenko stressed, Belarus will not retreat from the policy of developing relations with Georgia.
Last April Minskand Tbilisisigned 16 documents and five bilateral agreements. The countries decided to establish joint production and trade with the markets of the European and Eurasian Economic Union.
Tomorrow the Belarusian-Georgian Business Forum will be held at the National Library.
