21.02.2025
Sanctions contradict the basic principles of the OSCE, damage the economic interests and well-being of States and peoples and do not contribute to the resolution of acute problems. This was stated by Oleg Rummo, member of the Standing Committee of the Council of the Republic on Foreign Affairs and National Security, at a meeting of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly in Vienna. The Belarusian senators note that the only way to bring positions closer and find joint solutions is through mutually respectful dialogue. For its part, Belarus is ready to contribute to solving the world food crisis and to develop the potential of the OSCE to strengthen our common security.
